Married in 2018, Nathan and Beate embarked on a culinary-inspired honeymoon across the Western Cape of South Africa. Upon returning home to Gauteng, they were so inspired by their experiences that they decided to bring the adventure home with them.
Lovers of people and good food, it seems inevitable that these two passions of Nathan and Beate's would eventually be brought together in some form or another.

Beate Mey - CHEF DE CUISINE
Beate believes that food is the sixth love language and she enjoys lavishing this love upon everyone she meets.
Her love of cooking came from joining her grandmother in the kitchen, and watching the Hairy Bikers and Masterchef UK on television. The first recipe she ever learnt to make was her mother's peppermint crisp tart and, to this day, Beate believes there is nothing quite as delicious as dark, sticky caramel, eaten straight out of a saucepan.

Nathan loves meeting people from different background and cultures and holds that, "the best people love to eat."
Nathan's speciality dishes are homemade pizzas and 'anything cooked on a braai'. While he loves dressing up and going out, for Nathan, nothing beats ordering in and enjoying a meal at home, on the couch, in underwear.
